		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Patricia&lt;/strong&gt;: Nice capsule review! I always enjoy your Newcastle-upon-Tyne perspective. I would agree with the filmmakers that &lt;em&gt;Coraline&lt;/em&gt; is really not suitable for kids 8 or under, regardless of it being animated. Beyond that, I think kids are far more resilient than adults want to give them credit for. I wonder whether these people remember the wonder of hiding their eyes at the Wicked Witch of the West in &lt;em&gt;The Wizard of Oz&lt;/em&gt;. That film was also scary for kids and my question would be: so what?
